Business Development Manager

This Business Development Manager will drive the growth of revenue and market share within the assigned countries and or region.

The Business Development Manager will help, find and maintain new Value Added Resellers. He/she will help them to increase the Cross Point market share in the appointed territory and support new product introductions.

Responsibilities

  • Find new Value Added Resellers (VAR’s) in those countries assigned.
  • Maintain and improve existing relationship with already appointed VAR’s.
  • Help and support VAR’s in order to increase the Cross Point market share in the appointed territory.
  • Support new product introductions and develop direct relationships with key retail customers in all vertical market segments.
  • Establish and manage revenue goals (monthly, quarterly, and annual) for assigned market and customers.
  • Collaborate with the sales team in order to build and achieve a list of top priority market and customer initiatives.
  • Develop retailer relationships at a senior-level, which will include key loss prevention, sales and procurement managers.
  • Work closely with management team to support a wide range of business development activities, including channel partnerships (selecting and driving partners on 4 strategic pillars accelerated growth, higher brand awareness, increased revenue, presence in new (vertical) markets).
  • Define new product requirements and new business opportunities.
  • Successfully drive revenue growth across multiple product platforms.
  • Identify, evaluate, and report on market and customer opportunities.
  • Provide and coordinate sales training as required for new product launches and existing product support.
  • Ensure pricing and stock levels are appropriate for the achievement of business goals and objectives of the VAR’s.
  • Identify, analyse, and report on competitive threats and pricing, customer concerns, and market dynamics.
  • Work closely with customer & sales support services and product delivery team in order to ensure that product requirements and delivery lead-times are met.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree preferred, university degree is a pro.
  • Min 5 years of experience in product sales with a track record of growing revenue, profitability, and market share.
  • Direct experience within retail industry, ideally B2B.
  • Sold into retailers with 100+ locations.
  • Strong sales hunter; new customer development accomplishments
  • Strong success building, growing 1.0M Euro Sales Quotas.
    Strong success identifying, working, and closing 50K-2.0M Euro customer deals
  • Excellent selling skills requiring high-level presentations, persuading, and negotiating with business partners, retailers and other key decision makers.
  • Direct experience within retail industry, ideally within fashion segments.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and communicate customer needs, marketplace dynamics, industry trends, andcompetitive threats within a market.
  • Ability to analyze financial data, prepare accurate forecasts, measure and report (weekly, monthly, and quarterly) onperformance.
  • Understanding of the disciplines of strategic account planning, account management, new account development, and administration.
  • Ability to implement sales programs and initiatives that are coordinated and consistent with the values and strategic direction of the region and corporation as a whole.
  • Exceptional presentation, communication, and people skills.
  • Entrepreneurial, self-directed, and driven personality.
  • Excellent English skills
  • Ability and eagerness to travel frequently to be in front of customers and support Cross Point business growth.
